Mady Elvinger-Werner

Professional Background

​

Mady Elvinger-Werner is a Luxembourg-based lawyer and strategic advisor with over 15 years of experience in the legal and economic landscape.

She began her career at Arendt & Medernach (2009–2016), where she specialized in corporate law and complex structuring projects. She was admitted as a lawyer to the Luxembourg Bar (Avocate à la Cour) from 2012 to 2024 and remains closely connected to the national institutional and professional network.

Today, she serves as a strategic advisor to the family office of René Elvinger, supporting the coordination, governance, and development of entrepreneurial and patrimonial projects.

She is actively engaged in Luxembourg’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including collaboration with the House of Entrepreneurship.

Sport & Youth Engagement

Deeply committed to sport and youth development, Mady has been actively involved in figure skating governance in Luxembourg.

She joined the board of the Club Hiversport Patinage Luxembourg in 2021, was elected committee member in 2023, and has served as President since 2025. The club, founded in 1974, is one of Luxembourg’s leading ice sports organizations, with over 300 members and a strong international presence.

Under her leadership, the club organizes major international events such as the Coupe du Printemps and high-level training camps, contributing to the development of young athletes and the international visibility of Luxembourgish figure skating.

She also oversees media and promotion within the Luxembourg Skating Union, working closely with key national sports institutions and promoting values of integrity, safeguarding, and excellence in sport.

Entrepreneurial & Creative Initiatives

Mady is the founder of ICE PEARL (2023), a platform at the intersection of sport, culture, and lifestyle.

Through ICE PEARL, she has created internationally recognized ice galas in the Swiss Alps, acknowledged as “Top Winter Events” by regional tourism authorities.

Her work connects athletes, artists, and brands, while supporting local entrepreneurship through collaborations and curated initiatives.

She is also developing projects in movement, performance, and well-being, reflecting her vision of combining elegance, discipline, and modern femininity.

Political Engagement & Heritage

Mady Elvinger-Werner is politically engaged within the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV), where she contributes to discussions around society, responsibility, and long-term development. She is a member of the national committee of CSF – Fraen an der CSV.

She comes from a family with a strong public service tradition. She is the granddaughter of Pierre Werner, one of Luxembourg’s most prominent statesmen and a key architect of European monetary integration (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Werner).

This heritage continues to inspire her commitment to responsible leadership, social cohesion, and constructive engagement in public life.

Social & Community Engagement

Mady is committed to social impact and solidarity. She has initiated and supported charitable actions in collaboration with Luxembourg-based non-profit organizations, including projects supporting patients affected by serious illnesses.

Her engagement also extends to Switzerland, where she contributes to sports infrastructure and community-driven initiatives.
